“What I gained from working under TJ transcended any of my hopes and expectations for what I would eventually be able to apply to integrated marketing and my focus areas. Instead, I learned life-long lessons about working with people that I will apply to my career forever. TJ consistently pushed me to grow through experience and challenged me to explore uncharted territory as the catalyst for that growth. Whether empowering me to speak up in meetings or giving me the opportunity and guidance to drive my first award-winning program, TJ taught me how to excel at work. 1 year and 6 months after working under TJ, I am still often asking myself what he would do, say, or ask as I strategize new ideas and solutions for my current work. When that doesn’t serve me to the extent that I need it to, I then call him to which he will always pick up and listen. TJ doesn’t care for office politics, roadshows, or accolades. His only priorities as a leader are to help others, learn and evolve together, and create the best work possible through collaboration. Everything else is considered a bonus and an opportunity to grow. Anyone who gets the opportunity to work with TJ as a boss, peer, or mentor should consider themselves lucky.”
