“I had the extreme good fortune to have Ronjan as our senior leader when the start-up I worked with was acquired by Nielsen. We went from a fairly small team to what initially felt like one tiny cog in a giant company. In retrospect, I have to give Ronjan the credit for our team (and culture) remaining largely intact - many of us are still with Nielsen today. It was not an easy transition, but he made it possible with his integrity and extraordinary people skills. Ronjan's genuine excitement and vision for what's possible is contagious. He deeply understands how to unite a team behind an idea - in this case, a pathway to bringing innovation and new methodologies to an increasingly dynamic market. Ronjan knew how to bring out the best in both our organizations to achieve a successful partnership. As my role evolved into a different organization in the company, Ronjan continued to be a source of guidance, inspiration and coaching. I was tasked with leading a team through a significant change in focus. I did not report directly to Ronjan but he made himself available to listen to my change of plan and approach - he offered counsel and caution when necessary, along with the encouragement to take the risks to provide an outcome that exceeded the original vision. Ronjan knows how to recognize the potential of a team and bring out their best, even in the face of uncertainty. He achieves this because he's an authentic leader, who you can trust, and you know, he'll be there with you. Bottom line, more than just an ideas guy, Ronjan builds leaders. In doing so, he furthers both the mission and inspires the community to move from the back of the napkin out into the market. I would consider myself incredibly lucky to work with him again.”
