Your marketing team needs a CRM software upgrade. What’s the best way to choose the right one?
Having been a buyer, influencer and user in a number of large firms, and consulting on this issue now, there are three key components that should drive the discussion: *What does your company actually use the CRM for (versus what they want to do with it); *What do the people who use the system every day say is missing in terms of data, reporting, information, etc. *How will the migration take place? Over what time period and who will be involved in supporting this? Don’t start the process to shift systems unless you can answer (at minimum) those questions. I’ve seen many firms move from one system to another for all the wrong reasons and be unhappy with the results.
