How do you network as a product manager across cultures?
+1 to this. I believe every great conversation starts with genuine curiosity. People love sharing their personal stories in general, so the key is to ask good questions and be a good listener. The conversation also doesn't have to stay at the professional level - asking about their lives and interests can help establish a connection early on. I also believe it's the best conversation when you can find commonalities but also learn something new from the differences at the same time. For example, if you are networking with a PM of a food delivery app in a different country, ask about their market dynamics and challenges, and also share how it works in your country. You could even download each other's apps for a deeper understanding.
