July marks the start of a new fiscal year for LinkedIn, and I’m excited to welcome the marketing team and the Economic Graph Research Institute, led by Chief Economist Karin Kimbrough, into my organization as we support our over one billion members and 68 million companies in reaching their professional and business objectives. My recent discussions with customers suggest more optimism for the year ahead. Together we can create economic opportunity for members and customers in what continues to be a very dynamic environment and a new AI powered economy.

Indeed I found her Cannes talk about the “relationship economy” to be very optimistic.
Best of luck!

It's so impressive what LinkedIn has built with over one billion members and 68 million companies. I remember when I kept track of my contacts on an Excel sheet and this was before social selling and digital thought leadership expertise existed. I'm happy to see more optimism for the year ahead.
Yes, madame president!
2wI wish I could share your enthusiasm about the economy. Everyone's hair should be on fire today. If Trump wins the election, which he is on track to do, the fortunes at LinkedIn and Microsoft (and for everybody else) will change dramatically over time. Things will change for the worse financially, in terms of available jobs, and almost every way I can think of. While I applaud your efforts at LinkedIn, things could look markedly different in a few short months. We are well beyond the stage of thinking this could never happen. It is happening. Trump 2 will be much worse than Trum 1. We will have to rewrite our forecasts for the next fiscal year, if Trump wins. Every CEO and newspaper should make a public statement on the upcoming election and what it will mean for business and the economy if Trump is elected. Everybody that is anybody needs to be on the record. This will help the public understand that their survival and prosperity is on the line here too. If the economy goes south, so do jobs—for everyone. This country and the world have a lot to lose. EVERYBODY ON THE PLANET SHOULD BE ABLE TO GET BEHIND BIDEN, OR WHOEVER THE DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATE IS Quite literally, we must win, or else!!
