Our Singapore office hosted a fun-filled Family Day last week. This year's theme was the Olympics, and participants enjoyed games, DIY-designed totes, a magic show and a cookie decorating station!

Our Singapore office participated in United Women Singapore (UWS)'s STEM Festival — engaging with students, parents and educators interested in the quant finance industry. Since 2021, WorldQuant Singapore has established a continuing partnership with UWS, supporting their mission of gender equality through education.

Our London team participated in a Sherlock Holmes-style treasure hunt for their latest team-building activity. Each team deciphered clues, communicated with characters and solved puzzles to reach the endpoint in the shortest time. The activity was followed by a casual dinner.

Earlier this month, WorldQuant hosted a tech talk with Herb Sutter, who has served as chair of the ISO C++ standards committee since 2002. Herb’s talk focused on the key components to a successful project — highlighting value, availability and compatibility.

To promote mental and physical wellness, our Korea office joined a local walkathon to raise awareness for teenage mental health. Over a dozen WorldQuant employees walked or jogged 4.5 miles near the Han River, discussing happiness and work-life balance. After the event, the team enjoyed a K-style dinner.
