The 2024 Worldcom Digital Health Monitor is here! ⚕ We have released our 2024 report that highlights crucial digital insights for the pharmaceutical industry. Our analysis covers the online presence of 25 top pharma companies in 27 countries across 11 digital channels from 2023-2024. In our report, we review their use of online channels and have found that leading pharma companies have largely failed to leverage localized content. There is a continued trend to underutilize social media channels, except for Instagram. Key Findings: 🔹 Pharma companies' content and communication strategies are heavily influenced by their headquarters' cultural perspective. 🔹 There's a missed opportunity to educate and protect their brand globally by not adopting a localized approach. 🔹Effective use of all digital channels is essential for sharing news, inspiring ideas, and information about diseases and prevention. 🔹 Harness maturing social channels like TikTok to increase messaging and information reach.
