Hi Friends, Long ago, we built an internal tool on Wordware to structure our brainstorming ideas and for times when we talk to ourselves (yes, we do that a lot, especially our CEO Filip Kozera!). Then our use cases expanded, and so did our users as some friends saw us using it and asked for access. Lately, we built a front-end application for it and decided to share it with all of you (link in the comments). We called it Audioscribe, and it is a WordApp—a Wordware application, one of many we plan to build and share with you and our community. Kyle Corbitt and Saumya G. recently shared some insightful knowledge on optimizing outputs of LLMs with Mixtures of Agents (MoA) in their article on OpenPipe. 👀 They introduced the 'Mixture of Agents' (MoA) models, which outperformed GPT-4 variants in real-world tasks, being preferred 59.5% of the time. Smaller Llama 3 models fine-tuned on MoA-generated data also surpassed GPT-4 performance. Key Points: • Architecture: MoA uses a three-prompt chain to generate diverse candidate completions, critique them, and produce a final completion. It can be a drop-in replacement for GPT-4. • Performance Evaluation: MoA models achieved better results than GPT-4-Turbo in both open-source benchmarks and private tasks, with significant improvements in summarization, chat, and data extraction tasks. • Cost Efficiency: Fine-tuned Llama 3 8B models are 3x faster and 25x cheaper than GPT-4, while maintaining high quality and performance. This capability allows organizations to expand AI use, achieving better results and pushing the limits of AI's practical utility.
