Welcome back to Midway’s Then & Now Photo Series featuring compartments of Midway, as it looked when it first arrived pre-restored at Navy Pier in 2004, compared to how it looks today as a museum in 2024. #Midway20 Midway’s superstructure (a.k.a. “Island”) is the command and control center for Flight Deck operations and the ship.
