"If Not Me, Then Who..."
About us
Travis Manion Foundation (TMF) empowers veterans and families of fallen heroes to develop character in future generations. In 2007, 1st Lt Travis Manion (USMC) was killed in Iraq while saving his wounded teammates. Today, Travis' legacy lives on in the words he spoke before leaving for his final deployment, "If Not Me, Then Who..." Guided by this mantra, veterans and survivors continue their service, develop strong relationships with their communities, and thrive in their post-military lives. As a result, communities prosper and the character of our nation's heroes live on in the next generation.

Service may come in many forms, but they all share the same goal of supporting something larger than oneself. If you haven't served, but would like to, ask a question. If you have served, please share your advice or experience and encourage someone in their journey. ❤️ Let's all come together and uplift those who are willing to step up and make our world a better place.

Inspired by TMF's ethos, "If Not Me, Then Who...", True Chesapeake lacrosse club rallied together to support their teammate's road to recovery. #00 Thomas Matthews, a nationally ranked 13-year-old lacrosse player, is facing major challenges after a recent bicycle accident: brain trauma, multiple fractures, and punctured lungs. With their coach regularly instilling the stories of Brendan and Travis, the team draws strength from their legacy. Thomas now tackles daily therapy with determination, on track for a full recovery! ❤️ It may be a challenging journey ahead, but we believe in our Spartan community to show support for Thomas. Whether it's a kind comment, a prayer, a DM, or any gesture, each means the world to Thomas and his parents.

Inspired civilians doing their part in a simple yet powerful way. 💪 Last month marked TMF Spartans James Cahalin and Nick Reinking's 4th year showing up at 5:30 AM to hike two 14k' summits while carrying 5-7 pounds of rocks—all in honor of our nation's fallen heroes. 🇺🇸 A huge shoutout to Under Armour for providing jackets that proved resilient against 30mph winds on their descent and keeping them warm in the morning! #IfNotMeThenWho #HonoringHeroes #VeteranMentors #MountainSummits
