“This is the country that gave me the American dream.” Wilmer Valderrama has launched E.P.U. - 'E Pluribus Unum,' an activewear brand with a purpose. "'E Pluribus Unum' meaning 'Out of Many, One,' reflects American unity. When our troops don the uniform, differences in identity fade away, united by their shared mission to serve our nation." A portion of sales of activewear line will support #theUSO. For Valderrama, serving as a USO Global Ambassador and performing on USO tours all around the world is a way to give back to the country that has given so much to him. “Meeting thousands of soldiers and hearing all of their stories … I really got to appreciate the type of individual that it takes to wear that uniform,” Valderrama says. “I was very humbled by the men and women, their bravery, their selflessness, the sacrifice. And that’s the thing that I’ll always remember.” “The USO has changed everything for me,” Valderrama said. “When I came to the United States with a dream as an immigrant, and I came to really appreciate the American flag and understand that anything can happen when you’re here, that the American dream is real.  I'm proud to share the @USO's 2023 Global Impact Report, highlighting our incredible achievements in supporting service members and their families worldwide over the past year. From standing by those deployed in Eastern Europe amid the conflict in Ukraine to responding swiftly to natural disasters like the wildfires in Hawaii and Typhoon Mawar in Guam, the USO's presence has been unwavering. With the opening of over 20 new Centers across six states and six countries, our reach has extended even further, ensuring that our brave men and women in uniform have the support they need wherever their mission takes them. Notably, we launched our first ship-based USO Centers aboard the USS George H.W. Bush and the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower, providing vital resources and a sense of community to service members at sea. These milestones, along with the dedication of nearly 20,000 volunteers who contributed over 1.2 million hours of service, showcase the profound and expansive impact of the USO. #TheUSO
