Axiom Space, NASA, and SpaceX have completed the first Artemis III Integrated Test. Axiom Space, along with NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration and SpaceX, has finished the first of a series of tests conducted in a bid to return astronauts to the moon by September 2026. These tests are the first of its kind since Apollo and involve obtaining astronaut feedback on Axiom Space’s next-generation spacesuit in preparation for the Artemis III mission. Cerebras Systems, a developer of AI chips, has filed confidentially for an IPO according to reports. The Cerebras team is comprised of pioneering computer architects, computer scientists, deep learning researchers, and subject matter experts of all types. They have come together to build a new class of computer system, designed for the singular purpose of accelerating and changing the future of AI work forever. Cerebras unveiled the Wafer Scale Engine 3 in March of this year, “built to train the most advanced AI models” according to the company. Besides raw performance, Cerebras’ system is significantly more power efficient as compared to other leading solutions. Cerebras’ customers include Mayo Clinic and G42.
