Our Krusteaz Makers showed up in a BIG way for our Food Lifeline Sort & Pack event this morning. We never know what task we are going to be given until we arrive, and this time it was...PASTA! Our crew weighed and sorted out 2# bags of pasta into 30# boxes that will be arriving at local Food Banks in our region by the weekend. If our math is correct (verified by our Finance representatives who volunteered today!), we packed enough to serve over 500 families in under 2 hours. Every time we do an event, we are amazed at the immediate impact our work has. It feels good to give back! We packed 2,018 pounds of pasta, Che Buono! Teamwork and collaboration at its finest.

A small but mighty Krusteaz Co. team pulled together in FIERCE fashion to sort over 20,000 pounds of cabbage at Food Lifeline in under two hours last week. That's a lot of cabbage folks! A tremendous amount of teamwork and coordination went into making this happen. In just a few short days, food banks around our area will be receiving the 30-pound boxes of cabbages to deliver to food insecure families. The efforts of volunteering at Food Lifeline have immediate impacts in our local communities and that is one of the many amazing benefits of being part of this work. It's a great feeling to know we had a part in helping to keep the food pipeline flowing! Thanks for everything you do Food Lifeline team!

Thanks to our awesome Krusteaz Crew who had a very productive volunteer work session at the recent Food Lifeline Sort & Pack event. The group was small but mighty and they came to work! The Krusteaz team worked on a 2000# tote of oats to repackage into 2# bags and completed it in just under 1.5 hours!
