Inflation may have cooled in June, but apparel pricing didn’t follow the same trend. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics on Thursday said the Consumer Price Index (CPI) slipped 0.1 percent last month, aided by a 3.8 percent decline in gasoline prices. That didn’t help apparel, which actually saw prices rise by 0.1 percent after falling 0.3 percent in May.
