    Last week we held our 4th annual Growth Days event here at Similarweb, a program dedicated to inspiring and upskilling employees on core skills essential for their personal and professional development. This year's program, Skilling Up, focused on the 5 core skills we see as essential for employees to nurture in this upcoming year: ➡ Curiosity ➡ Leading with value ➡ Storytelling ➡ Innovative thinking & utilization of AI ➡ Self-awareness & having a growth mindset Similarwebbers from across the globe came together for a series of workshops and hands-on training sessions led by leaders from across the organization, and ended the week equipped with new tools and knowledge to take forward with them and excel in their roles. The event is one of our many programs dedicated to fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth, and it was truly inspiring to see the devotion and engagement of employees and leaders alike.

    Remember when Threads was launched a year ago, and it was all everyone could talk about? Then, when the initial hype faded and technical issues surfaced, everyone rushed to dismiss the app? As often happens, the truth lies somewhere in between. Threads managed to steadily and sustainably grow its audience, establishing itself as a legitimate player in the social media ecosystem. As for their promises to provide an alternative to X, they haven't reached that point yet.     Rather than sit up and beg for links, the leading pet care brand, Greenies, built a creative strategy and had the links coming to them. How did they do it? In August 2023 they launched a PR campaign surrounding their dog dental products, in partnership with American fashion designer, Christian Siriano. The result: A spike in natural backlinks from high-traffic domains led to 112.9% traffic growth during that month.
