Today, American formally submitted an application to the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) to operate daily, nonstop service between San Antonio International Airport (SAT) and Washington Reagan National Airport (DCA). Read more at https://bit.ly/3Lg46RH

Aeromexico is now flying their larger 737 on one of their two daily flights to Mexico City! ✈️ This represents an increase in seats of 62% - as well as *more space* for passengers. 👏👏👏 Flights on the larger aircraft are currently scheduled through the end of summer. 🌞

TRAVEL TIP ✅ This is the most important advice we can offer: If you are traveling within the U.S. (domestically), please arrive at least 2 hours before your *boarding* time - not your departure time. 🌍 If you are headed to an international destination, then we highly recommend arriving at least 3 hours ahead of your boarding time. ✈️ For example, if your domestic flight takes off at 7:00 a.m. (and your airline's boarding time is 6:30 a.m.) - then you should plan to be at SAT by 4:30 a.m. at the very latest. Each airline's boarding time varies, so check your boarding pass. Summer is our busy season and we want you to have the smoothest experience possible. #flySAT

RUNWAY REOPENING 🛫 Runway 13L is open again! The general aviation runway underwent several safety upgrades. We've added a new lighting system and had mill and overlay work done on the runway surface. The parallel Taxiway R was also reconstructed.
