CLINICAL PARTNERSHIP NEWS: Thank you SBH Health System for launching this innovative Maternity Care Navigation + Patient Advocacy program with our virtual doulas at Ruth Health (YC S21)! 🧡 Together, we now offer our bilingual, community-based and remote virtual #doulas to the full pregnant, L&D, and postpartum population at St. Barnabas. 🧡 The Ruth Health and SBH provider teams unite to offer free-to-patient advocacy, support, education, triage, and care navigation. 🧡 This kicks off National Pregnancy Month with a program built to bridge the patient-provider divide and promote maternal THRIVING, not just survival. SBH Health System has been delivering health and wellness to The Bronx community for over 150 years. Our accessible, tech-enabled platform harnesses the evidence-based power of #doulas at scale. #NYTechWeek has been one of the best things I’ve had the opportunity to take part in. Our evening wrapped with Fenwick partner Sarah Fergusson Chambless leading an incredible discussion with Trailblazers Rebecca Minkoff and Sallie Krawcheck, co-hosted with Halogen Ventures and The Female Founder Collective, leaving the group inspired! We followed that with an inspirational fireside chat with 🍕 Slice app founder Ilir Sela and Fenwick partner Ian Goldstein. 🏥 Thursday, XRC Ventures Partner Ally Tumasova (Tam) and Samantha Stokes had a discussion with Rona Li of Redesign Health, Robert Coombs of Baton Health, Ed Sclater of Motiv, and Kereeti Pisapati of Mount Sinai Innovation Partners on “How to Drive Commercial Partnerships within Healthtech” – a goldmine of knowledge!
