It was an absolute joy being at Colorado Parks and Wildlife’s Partners in the Outdoors Conference in Breckenridge this week! It’s so rewarding to see so many partnerships I’ve made with OREC blossom into meaningful connections and friendships across the outdoor industry. I’m excited and energized to continue the work of supporting the people who make Colorado a great place to live and play, and, of course, spending as much time as possible outdoors! When our Chief Impact Officer Luis Benitez traveled to Washington, D.C. last fall it was to bring a clear message to the lawmakers: Access to the outdoors is a fundamental human need. Next week he’ll be back on Capitol Hill, but this time he’ll be joined by dozens of TPL advocates from across the nation.
