We are incredibly proud to be featured in a video by Aspire Trades High School, showcasing our commitment to helping students learn about plumbing and explore successful career opportunities straight out of high school. This innovative trade school, serving grades 9-12, is a project of Aspire Carolinas Foundation Inc. and is the only charter model of its kind in North Carolina. Aspire Trades High School offers rigorous academic programs combined with “hands-on” labs, allowing students to earn both a diploma and a trade certificate during their four years. Starting trade instruction in their freshman year, students can enter apprenticeships with local companies during their senior year to gain additional experience. Students have the opportunity to explore careers in various trades, including HVAC, plumbing, data science, carpentry, culinary, masonry/ceramic tile, welding/fabrication, medical assisting, medical coding, and automotive. Expert trade instructors guide students towards NC trade certification or licensure, equipping them with the skills needed for a successful career. Job well done to all the fantastic teachers and administrators at the Aspire Trades High School on another great year! The Pearl CLT #NC #innovationdistrict: Post 18 part 2: THE SIGN IS IN!!!! Ok so I know most everyone saw the last picture I posted but we were missing a couple of letters and logos. Well the wait is over because last week SouthWood Corporation finished installing the sign and boy does it look good. When people say it’s the talk of the town that’s an understatement. It’s good to see it up and what this represents for Charlotte and the youth in the city. Something to look up to and to strive for as they think about their futures in education and careers. The Howard R. Levine Center for Education (#C4E ) houses not only Atrium Health’s Carolinas College of Health Sciences (#CCHS) but also at long last Charlotte’s very own 4 year medical program by Wake Forest University School of Medicine that the city was lacking. We are now less than a year away from completing the project with the majority of the work now focusing on the inside stuff… highly technical term for #interior #fitout. Can’t wait. We recently held our company Spring Drive-Thru for our amazing employees! Originally scheduled for May 4th with a fun "May The 4th Be With You" theme, we had to postpone due to inclement weather. Our drive-thru event provided a wonderful opportunity for our team to connect with Leadership, discuss various topics, and chat with The Caring Team about how we're supporting each other and the community.
