Some of our biggest proponents of MyCare Technologies are the law enforcement officers responding to crisis calls. Enabling individuals in a mental health crisis to connect immediately with a mental health professional through a face-to-face video call provides critical support to both the person in crisis and the responding officer.

Combining the efforts of law enforcement and CCBHCs with the powerful tool of MyCare fosters effective collaboration to provide mental health resources to those in need. Through MyCare, law enforcement personnel can facilitate direct, HIPAA-compliant video calls between individuals in crisis and mental health professionals. In rural areas, where both mental health services and law enforcement officers are scarce, swift assessments and evaluations within smaller communities reduce the need for unnecessary hospital transfers. This approach allows law enforcement to allocate their resources more efficiently, ultimately saving time and funds for their departments

On Saturday, an F3 tornado came through Claremore and nearby areas, uprooting homes and families. Despite ongoing power outages, our communities are uniting to provide mutual aid! 🤝 Thanks to Jordan and the Catoosa Walmart team’s incredible generosity, the Catoosa Community Storeroom is now fully stocked to aid those impacted by the storms. Supplies include power banks, tarps, rope, headlamps, lanterns, flashlights, fans, batteries, ice packs, coolers, gas cans, pet food, and bottled water. The support of our community partners truly make all the difference and allow us to wrap our clients in care and extend support beyond behavioral health. Thank you Catoosa Walmart! #HelpTodayHopeTomorrow CREOKS is certified & partially funded by the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services.
