Limburg is a key player at the European level in logistics. The focus is shifting from volume growth to contributing to necessary transitions in energy, raw materials, and broad prosperity. Innovations to optimize the existing logistics system are embraced and encouraged. Ton Neumann has 35 years of experience in infrastructure and mobility policy, with the last 16 years at the Province of Limburg as the Programme Manager Logistics. Recently, he has focused on the national Dutch Topcorridors program and the Rhombus project, working within a network of inland ports on sustainability and modal shift.
