Today is an extremely proud moment for me as a co-founder of Nerdio. Even before launching #Nerdio, I used to attend Microsoft Inspire, an annual global event for Microsoft Partners. It was actually at Microsoft Inspire 2018 in Las Vegas that I met Joseph Landes, who would later become my co-founder. I recall watching with admiration the live CoreNotes by Gavriella Schuster (then Microsoft Channel Chief and now Nerdio board member) and other executives, where Partner of the Year awards were announced. The award winners were well-known global companies who achieved impressive success. I aspired to achieve even a bit of this level of success in the Microsoft ecosystem someday. When we built our Nerdio Manager products, we made a strategic bet on Microsoft.  Not only did we bet on the Microsoft Cloud as the platform for our products but we also selected the Azure Marketplace as our primary go-to-market transactional platform. The commercial marketplace has been a huge catalyst for Nerdio’s growth over the last few years. It allowed us to seamlessly do business with Microsoft customers (and what company isn't a Microsoft customer?) in more than 140 countries without worrying about collections, sales tax compliance, credit card processing fees, and lots of other overhead. Nerdio was fortunate to be named a finalist in the Partner of the Year awards in 2022 and 2023, which was a huge honor for us. This year, I’m thrilled to announce that Nerdio has been named the WINNER of Partner of the Year award in the Americas for the Commercial Marketplace. It’s hard to believe how much progress the Nerdio team has made in the last few years to be recognized with such an honor. I’m extremely proud to have been a part of this journey and looking forward to what comes next.
