Feeling undervalued or overlooked? Remember, the most crucial opinion about your worth should come from you. "There will always be someone that does not see your worth. Don't let it be you." Embrace your self-worth and resilience. Start each day with positive reminder like 'I am valuable and worthy of respect.' Reflect on your strengths and achievements in a daily journal, and visualize moments when you felt truly valued. Believe in yourself, because you deserve it. Call to Action: Share how you remind yourself of your worth. Share this message with someone who needs a reminder of their incredible worth today. #SelfWorth #BelieveInYourself #MorningCupInspiration

Over a year ago I sat crying on the sofa cuddling my son hoping the tears would dry before my wife walked in the room. My mental health had hit rock bottom, I felt lost, I felt useless. I didn't know where to turn. My family, friends and running let me find light at the end of the tunnel. This is a battle I still fight every day. It would be a miss for me to build this platform and not use it to try and help others. I am going to be starting a series of live events called 'Crying on the Sofa'. This will be a series of 3 live events and is not specific to the technology industry. Anyone is welcome to attend. We will hear from live speakers about anything to do with mental health. It will be free. This event will NEVER cost you a dime. I need some help though!! I am looking for: - A venue to host us. - A sponsor to help pay for things such as marketing, apparel, drinks and food on the night etc. - A designer to help design a logo and materials (flyer type thing) to market the event. - Anyone interested in speaking. That's all the detail I have atm folks, until I have those 3 things above sorted. Stay tuned to find out more.

The leading cause of death for men under 50 is ________. (a) Cancer? (b) Cardiovascular problems? (c) Accidents? (d) Stroke? Nope, unfortunately it’s suicide. Worse still... 50% of men say they would be ashamed to tell their employer about mental health issues. We need to address this (not just for the benefit of men but women too!). In the meantime if you are struggling, here are some tips: Feeling stressed? ↳ Schedule regular breaks (outside if you can) ↳ Meditation or breathwork ↳ Discuss workload with manager Feeling anxious? ↳ Discuss prioritisation of tasks with manager ↳ If a task takes less than 2 minutes, do it now ↳ Try reducing caffeine and sugar to reduce physical symptoms Feeling depressed? ↳ Seek professional assistance (e.g. Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) if available) ↳ Prioritise sleep, nutrition and exercise and connecting with supportive people Feeling burnt out? ↳ Rest - both active and passive ↳ Designate tech-free zones and times ↳ Schedule regular days off and things to look forward to Want to help others? ↳ Normalise conversation by being open and vulnerable ↳ Encourage them when they share ↳ Learn the art of active listening ↳ Avoid jumping into advice mode - just hold space for them ↳ Ask “How can I best be support you at this time?” ↳ Ask “Are you feeling overwhelmed at the moment?” ♻️ Share this post to increase awareness about the importance of mental wellbeing at work. 🤝 If you are struggling and don’t have anyone else to talk to, message me and I’d be happy to chat!

Really? One small step at a time can help transform my life? Small daily improvements are the key to staggering long-term results. In the pursuit of personal growth, it’s easy to get overwhelmed by the grand vision of our ultimate goals. However, true transformation is often the result of small, consistent efforts. Every day offers an opportunity to take a step forward, no matter how small, and these incremental steps compound over time to create significant changes. Embracing this approach allows us to focus on manageable actions that build momentum and foster lasting growth. Daily Incremental Improvement Exercise 🌟 Identify a Small Step: Choose and focus on one small, specific action you can take today that aligns with your goals. This could be as simple as drinking an extra glass of water, reading for 10 minutes, organizing a small area of your workspace, or smiling at someone! 📅 Track Your Progress: Use a journal or a tracking app to note your daily actions. Reflect on how these small steps contribute to your overall progress and growth. 💪 Celebrate Wins: Acknowledge and celebrate even your smallest achievements. Be grateful! Recognizing your progress, no matter how minor, boosts motivation and reinforces positive habits.

🌅 Every day is a new opportunity to choose a life that aligns with your true self. 📜 Life offers us a fresh start each day, an opportunity to align our actions and decisions with our deepest values and desires. By embracing this mindset, we can break free from limiting beliefs and negative patterns. This empowers us to live intentionally, making choices that reflect who we truly are and want to become. Each moment is a chance to reset, refocus, and recommit to living authentically. 📝 Action: Daily Reflection Exercise 🌞 Morning Reflection: Begin your day with a few minutes of quiet reflection. Ask yourself, "What choices can I make today that align with my true self?" ⏰ Midday Check-In: At lunchtime, take a moment to assess your morning. Are you making choices that reflect your values and desires? If not, identify a small adjustment you can make for the afternoon. 🌙 Evening Review: Before bed, reflect on your day. Consider what choices you made that aligned with your true self and what you can improve tomorrow. Write down one thing you’re grateful for and one thing you’ll work on the next day.
