The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) is the law enforcement agency for the city of Indianapolis, Indiana. Its operational jurisdiction covers all of the consolidated city of Indianapolis and Marion County except for the Airport Authority and three of the four excluded cities - Beech Grove, Lawrence, and Speedway. *ALWAYS report crimes in progress and other emergencies to 911, and non-life-threatening situations to 317.327.3811.
