At the heart of HFR and ICON360 lies a commitment to emerging talent, particularly nurturing Black fashion students from HBCUs. HFR teamed up with AMERICAN EAGLE OUTFITTERS INC. to provide North Carolina Central University fashion students with an experience of a lifetime, an HBCU Fashion Summit; a multi-year partnership providing funding, mentorship, and professional development with one of our nation's top clothing companies, AEO. The initiative featured a dynamic series of virtual "Tenacity Talks" complemented by a hands-on summit where students engaged in icebreakers, absorbed impactful discussions on achieving success, and participated in resume and portfolio reviews as well as mock interviews with AEO and HFR professionals. Together, HFR and its partners are crafting a vibrant future for the next wave of Black talent in fashion.
