This event provides the chance to build community with fellow members and those that protect us. Free for members, $25 for non-members. Pre-registration required.

Last Thursday, GSSCC President & CEO Stephanie Helsing was invited to join County Council Vice President Kate Stewart, District 20 Delegate Lorig Charkoudian, Senior Government Relations Associate Ashlie Bagwell, and many more representatives and community members, for a first view of the trains that will be used for the Purple Line. Congratulations to Doran Bosso, CEO at Purple Line Transit Partners LLC and the entire team for their hard work. The Chamber looks forward to seeing the continuing progress with the tracks and the completion of the EIGHT stops that are in Silver Spring.

I'm proud to report that Atlantech Online President Ed Fineran won the Bruce H. Lee Service to Silver Spring Award at last night's Greater Silver Spring Chamber of Commerce Awards & Installation event at the The American Film Institute Silver Theatre and Cultural Center. Both Bruce and Ed have been mentors to me and the Montgomery County business community misses Bruce's leadership.
