For the month of June, we partnered with Orange County United Way for a book drive. We were excited to collect 300 books over the month, gathering both new and gently used books for Carl Harvey Elementary School in Santa Ana. On Friday, a team from Enevate Corporation, delivered and distributed the donations to students within the school's summer after school program. It was a rewarding experience, and we look forward to continuing our contributions in the future. #philanthropy #startups #Irvine #givingback #bookdrive

Today is World Environment Day. The theme this year is "Our Land. Our Future. We are #GenerationRestoration." According to the United Nations, 40% of the world's population is affected by land degradation. We like that the theme is focused not just on slowing down climate change or environmental destruction, it is focused on restoring the earth and focusing on us and how we can work together to affect positive change. It may feel overwhelming, but governments, businesses, schools, other organizations, and individuals CAN do something to help push things in the right direction. https://lnkd.in/gAUgz9_4 Enevate Corporation's mission and vision as a company are to develop innovative battery technologies to accelerate adoption of electrified mobility and to work towards a cleaner and sustainable environment through a variety of battery powered applications and products that are accessible and affordable to everyone. We still have hope in this vision and know we all can do our part to be part of Generation Restoration. Let's use this day as a day to remind ourselves of our mission. Better batteries can indeed help accelerate the transition to cleaner vehicles.

Today, we come together to celebrate Cultural Diversity Day and to recognize the rich tapestry of backgrounds, traditions, and perspectives that make Enevate Corporation truly exceptional. In honor of Diversity Day, we hosted a cultural potluck to share delicious foods from around the world. We appreciate and honor the diverse cultures that shape who we are today. 🌎 Happy Earth Day from Enevate Corporation!   Today, on April 22nd, we join the global movement to celebrate Earth Day and honor our planet's beauty and resilience.   Earth Day, first observed in 1970, has since become a pivotal moment for environmental awareness and action worldwide. It reminds us of the urgent need to protect our environment and promote sustainable practices. 🌿🚰  At Enevate, we're proud to play our part. Just this past Saturday, on April 20th, our dedicated team volunteered their time for a beach cleanup at Huntington Beach. 🌊 ♻ This endeavor demonstrates our dedication to enhancing environmental sustainability. Enevate is devoted to enabling individual mobility with electric vehicles that can be recharged as fast as refueling a gas tank.   Together, we collected tons of trash and debris, making a positive impact on our local environment. Big: The electric Lightning LS-218 motorcycle contains the first commercial vehicle battery with a silicon-dominant anode--able to go 335 miles, and then add 200 miles of charge in 12 minutes. The anode, with 70% silicon, is made by Enevate Corporation--and is metallurgical silicon. If this proves out, such anodes--made right now by 3 companies--could disrupt EV batteries.
