Introducing Compass NIL – an exchange platform exclusively designed to manage NIL dealmaking between brand partners and student-athletes. Learfield’s Compass NIL powers increased opportunities for student-athletes to participate in NIL activities while also facilitating NIL merchandise licensing activity at scale.
This week, CLC hosted its third annual HBCU Summit, bringing together more than 75 attendees, including representatives from 25 Historically Black Colleges and Universities, as well as select top licensing partners, industry leaders, and staff. Attendees included Dr. Kevin James President, Morris Brown College, Hampton University Athletic Director Anthony D. Henderson, Sr. and ESPN Events/Celebration Bowl Executive Director John Grant among other university executives and licensing directors. The HBCU Summit focused on consumer trends and strategies for growing HBCU brands and connecting with HBCU fans. Learfield President of Brand Manager and Marketing/CLC Cory Moss, an HBCU alumnus of Hampton University, led the Summit with sessions ranging from brand protection to leveraging the unique traditions and culture of HBCUs. CLC currently represents more than 45 HBCU institutions.
