Red Schooner Voyage 11 packs an adventure in every glass. Scents of toasted oak and broken-in leather, flavors of plum and baking chocolate, and textural tannins make this wine extra delicious alongside anything hot off the grill.

We were thrilled to come together recently with members of our sales team from across the country. Meeting in Monterey — the county where we source fruit for a number of our wines including Mer Soleil Chardonnay — we shared ideas and plenty of good food and wine at some of the area's amazing restaurants. We also spent time in the vineyard and visited some memorable local sites such as the mission in San Juan Bautista. The camaraderie and inspiration were high! A special thank you to those whose dedication made this event a seamless reality. We could not be more excited about the remainder of 2023 and looking ahead to 2024.

Happy #CabernetDay! 🍷 Caymus Cabernet CALIFORNIA is Chuck Wagner’s latest wine release. “I feel this wine expresses the greatness of California and its hidden pockets where Cabernet can excel. The cold Pacific Ocean running the entire length of the state presents maritime influences - and with each small distance eastward the climate warms. Stony soils, south-facing slopes and moderately warm conditions are the keys to producing dark, rich and good tasting Cabernet." Hear more about Chuck’s inspiration to make this new delicious Cabernet. This is an initial release and not yet available in all states - however, it is available at the following link: https://lnkd.in/gcqj8PEi

Harvest Update: The Cabernet Sauvignon vines around our home in Rutherford are well on their way to ripeness, and have recently changed from green to red in a process known as veraison. It is not only a beautiful sight but a magical nod to Mother Nature doing her work. In only a short time these berries will be ready to become #CaymusCab.

Chuck Wagner was just 19 when his late parents sat him down and asked him to go "all in" creating a commercial winery. He said yes — and the three worked alongside each other for decades in what Chuck calls "the precious history of my life." Today, Chuck works alongside two of his children, Charlie and Jenny — the business remains entirely family-owned and operated, with the three Wagners taking a hands-on approach to every aspect of farming and winemaking. Watch our video below to learn more about the family's embrace of new ideas as they never stop exploring. https://lnkd.in/g3fUarrp
