We are excited to announce that we have entered into expanded distribution agreements with Republic National Distributing Company and Breakthru Beverage Group. This was the culmination of a comprehensive strategic evaluation of our wholesale distribution network across the United States, with the goal of driving profitable growth through a substantial increase in focus and investment in the wholesale channel. As we have expanded our geographic commitment to RNDC and BBG, they have expanded their commitment to us. We see many benefits of these enhanced relationships, not only for us and our distributors, but most importantly, for our retail customers and consumers.

Today, we announced that Deirdre Mahlan has been appointed President, Chief Executive Officer, and Chairperson of The Duckhorn Portfolio. She has been a member of our Board of Directors since March 2021 and has served as interim CEO for the past six months. “We are thrilled Deirdre will serve as our permanent President, CEO and Chairperson, and look forward to continuing to partner with her to deliver on the vision she has for The Duckhorn Portfolio,” said Michelle Gloekler, The Duckhorn Portfolio’s lead independent director and chair of the CEO search committee. “Her industry track record and performance both on our Board and as interim CEO make it clear that Deidre is the ideal leader to spearhead the Company’s next phase of growth.”

Sold, for $48,000! The 2022 Duckhorn Vineyards Three Palms Vineyard Red Blend auction lot sold for an impressive $48,000 at Premiere Napa Valley’s annual auction. This Bordeaux-inspired blend saw competitive bids from members of the trade vying for a special wine for their top clients and collectors. In total, today’s auction raised over 3 million dollars for the Napa Valley Vintners, an organization dedicated to education and preservation.

Duckhorn Vineyards and Paraduxx are proud to participate in the 28th annual Premiere Napa Valley, offering unique lots from our Three Palms and Rector Creek estate vineyards. This barrel auction gives members of the trade the unique opportunity to procure special lots for top clients and collectors. In this third Responsibility and Sustainability Report, we quantify our Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions and energy usage for our California and Washington operations, discuss the details and impacts of our water usage at our production facilities, highlight the great strides made to enhance our employees’ health and safety, and discuss our continued efforts to support inclusive, sustainable business practices.
