About us
Cal’s Angels is a St. Charles, Illinois based 501(c)(3) pediatric cancer foundation established in 2007 by Tom Sutter and Stacey Sutter after losing their oldest son Cal to leukemia in 2006. During his treatment, Cal always cared about others before himself. Cal’s kindness inspired Tom and Stacey to start a foundation that would grant wishes for kids fighting cancer and provide financial assistance to their families. In 2017 Cal's Angels expanded their mission to raising awareness and funding Pediatric Cancer research. Our Mission: Granting wishes, raising awareness and funding research to help kids fighting cancer.

Each year, Cal's Angels #GlowWalk raises funds for pediatric cancer research and honors affected children by shining a light on their stories; for the Green family, they GLOW for their warrior, Maggie. 🌟 Diagnosed with epithelioid sarcoma in 2022, Maggie endured numerous surgeries, radiation, chemo, and immunotherapy treatments, all with unwavering bravery. Sadly, she passed away just over a year later in 2023. Her family remembers her as “hilarious, thoughtful, wise, and quite simply, the BEST.” Maggie dreamed of growing up to become a nurse just like her mom to help more children like herself. Her selflessness and caring nature left a lasting impact on all those who knew her; “she was the spark and light in all of our lives.” 🎆 Saturday, September 28th, help us light up the night with hope and strength for all those impacted by pediatric cancer at #GlowWalk2024. This Fall, Mike Campbell will cycle 475 miles in 4 days on the Cal's Angels Charity Bike Ride team, honoring his friend Brady. Brady has been battling glioblastoma, a malignant brain tumor, since 2020, facing initial treatment, remission, and a 2023 recurrence. He is still fighting today. “I ride for Cal’s Angels because it’s something I CAN do.” With his efforts, he aims to lessen these kids’ burdens and hopefully end such stories someday. Brady's resilience inspires Mike to be #BradyStrong as he rides Lake Michigan's shores this October, raising awareness and funds for pediatric cancer research. Join this incredible team of cyclists or support their cause. A few spots are still open. Learn more, register to ride, or support the team at https://lnkd.in/gtbFXsHk 🚴♂️🚴🚴♀️
