💪 We were pumped to kick off Intel Ignite US cohort 4 and start our 12-week journey together. The cohort founders got to know each other, and participated in our storytelling sessions, which help founders perfect their pitches. ✅ Kickoff week culminated in “AI Innovation Night” at MIT Media Lab in conjunction with Two Lanterns Venture Capital. I feel incredible pride in what we have achieved as a team. Meet Emma, a helpful and engaged AI assistant who can navigate complex requests, locate, showcase and sell products and services in real time. The residents of Panorama Tower have not only their minimarket open 24/7, but also Emma's assistance at all times. This helps them, for example, to understand how Quick Scan & Go works, receive suggestions and to solve possible problems that may occur at any time. At Quick Scan & Go we are constantly thinking about how to improve the shopping experience of our neighbors. I believe that life is not and will not be 100% digital as some predicted with the arrival of ecommerce. We are human beings who like to see and touch products when buying them. That's why at Quick Scan & Go we were always convinced that the experience we wanted to give our neighbors should combine the best of the brick & mortar world (physical) with the best of the digital world. Our business model is based on that same thing: minimarkets very close to where people live, study or work. Open 24 hours and economically viable thanks to technology. Yesterday we took a big step, thanks to the collaboration with my great friend Steve Gu and the entire wonderful team at bitHuman. Imagine not only checking in at the airport, but also asking the airline bitHuman to change our seats or requesting anything else that usually happens at airport counters. Or arrive at a hotel and instead of being greeted by a person at the front desk, we find bithumans at all hours to check in, make a reservation or request special requests during our stay. Every place I see a self-checkout terminal today, I see a screen with a bitHuman in no time. The experience and interaction will be more "human" without losing the benefits of technology. Even self-checkout terminals like the ones McDonald's has around the world will be replaced with Bithumans taking customer orders. Welcome to the future!
