We loved having Cassandra Freeman here in Bentonville last week for the Inaugural Belonging Summit at Walmart!
🌟 Exploring the Path to Meaningful Change and Inclusivity 🌟 Recently, I had the privilege of participating in Walmart's remarkable event – the Belonging Summit. This gathering left a profound impact on me and countless others, sparking essential conversations on fostering inclusion and a sense of belonging. 💭 "Who are we without Belonging? Who are we if we don't feel comfortable in our skin?" These questions prompt us to reflect inwardly. They remind me of James Baldwin's wise words, "The place in which I'll fit will not exist until I make it." Walmart's commitment to driving change amplifies our collective journey toward true Belonging, on a global scale. 🌍 Society advances through the visionaries and dreamers who dare to push boundaries. Belonging serves as a powerful catalyst to redefine and expand the boundaries of inclusion, making space for complex, vital dialogues. At the heart of my career and my company, Creatricity, lies the belief in creating space for all to collaborate and grow. 🙏 I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the Walmart family and Chief of Belonging Officer A. Denise Malloy - Deaderick for the invitation to join this inspiring lineup of speakers, including luminaries like Tia Mowry, Natalie Morales, and R.K. Russell. I'm continually impressed by Walmart's visionary leadership and their unwavering commitment to fostering change. 💎 Bentonville, Arkansas, stands as a shining gem in this journey, and I'm continuously inspired by the community's warmth and vision. Thank you for the warm welcome Maya Bowie Twilla Brooks, our brilliant moderator Tony Waller, and the entire Bentonville Film Festival Festival family, including Madeline Di Nonno and Wendy Guerrero, for making this experience truly exceptional. Let's continue our quest to create a world where everyone feels they truly belong. Together, we can make a difference! 💪 #BelongingSummit #InclusionMatters #DiversityandInclusion #ChangeMakers
