What is a Multi-Vendor Program?
This came up on a sales call this week and thought it would be good to dive into it a bit.
A multi-vendor program is where there is more than one supplier on a feature(qtr pallets, half pallets, full pallets, and pallet trains) that are pre-loaded and shipped to the stores in one unit.
These projects are strategically designed to be entirely turnkey to steam line operations from design, creative, manufacturing, inbounding, packout fulfillment, and logistics to the retailer.
Typically, these programs are specific to an entertainment property, unique initiatives, and category events (BTS, Annual Event, Easter, Holiday, etc.).
Multi-vendors can be a great way to feature smaller and emerging brands that might not have enough products to fill a pallet and create a unique shopping destination.
It can also be a hub spot to create a store in a store experience where shoppers might find multiple items, they would buy all together.
If you are a Walmart merchant and CPG brand looking to create unique in-store experiences - we should have a conversation.
Bay Cities as a direct manufacture is strategically designed to manage the entire process from design, testing, manufacturing, bringing in products, packout fulfillment and logistics to the retailer.
If you are interested, send me a DM to see how we can support your next retail initiative.
