Temperatures are rising in Houston, and we are all feeling the heat. Here are 3 Tips on how to stay cool this summer! 1. Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water throughout the day. Avoid sugary, caffeinated, or alcoholic beverages as they can lead to dehydration. 2. Wear Light Clothing: Choose lightweight, loose-fitting, and light-colored clothing. On May 22, 2024, BakerRipley's Child Care team at Workforce Solutions of the Coastal Bend in Corpus Christi celebrated reaching 4,000 children in care. The team grew enrollment by over 500 children since September 2023. One of the challenges facing the region was a limited number of classroom spaces for children in the community. This effort added over 150 new classroom spaces last quarter and a total of 577 spaces for the year!
