Educating staff is the most important and crucial part of a cyber secure workplace. Remember your users are the weakest link and it is up to you to reinforce this weakest link. So educate them, train them and keep them up to date. Have them go through targeted cyber security awareness training and have some training sessions as well. Listen to them as well, ex ask them what caused you to think this was a legit email and then educate them accordingly. Have them sign up for some voluntary training as well.

These policies should not just be some words written on a piece of paper or saved somewhere digitally. It is important to have your users go through these policies, understand them and then make sure they adhere to these policies. Make a process of having new users go through these policies during onboarding and if they have any concerns or queries, address those.
