Jason is passionate about headphones and speakers, and his focus is twofold. His background as a lifelong musician and decades-seasoned music producer leads him to look principally for natural, nuanced, balanced sound.

But he's also a tech reviewer (with dozens of audio reviews right here on Lifewire), so bringing the whole package to bear in solid connectivity, extra bells and whistles, and overall build quality and comfort are critical for his testing rubric.

Jason is a writer, editor, copywriter, and musician with almost ten years of experience writing for tech and media companies. In addition to covering tech for Lifewire, Jason is a current and past contributor for Thrillist, Greatist, and more.

He also works as a marketing copywriter covering industries ranging from e-commerce, consumer tech, and music to travel and real estate.

He attended Northeastern University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Music Technology, Computer Science, and Communications.
