This article explains how to cancel a Disney Plus subscription online, on iOS and Android. If you can’t remember how you signed up for Disney Plus, try each of the methods below. The Disney Plus cancel option will only appear within the system you signed up in.

How to Cancel a Disney Plus Subscription Online

If you signed up for a Disney+ subscription via the web, you would cancel it via the official Disney+ website.

  1. Select your Profile icon and choose Account in the dropdown menu.

  2. Under Subscription, select your subscription plan.

  3. Select Cancel subscription.

  4. Disney Plus will try to get you to stay. Select Continue to Cancel and Cancel Subscription to confirm.

How to Unsubscribe From Disney Plus on iOS

If you subscribed to Disney Plus on an iOS device such as an iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV, cancel your Disney Plus service through your Apple account settings.

  1. Open Settings on your iOS device.

  2. Tap your Apple ID.

  3. Choose Subscriptions.

  4. If you see Disney+ on your list of subscriptions, tap on it and then tap Cancel Subscription.

    If you don’t see Disney Plus, you likely signed up via another Apple account, an Android smartphone or tablet, or the web.

How to Cancel Disney Plus on Android

To cancel a subscription on an Android device, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Google Play app store,

  2. Tap your Profile.

  3. Choose Payments & Subscriptions.

  4. Select Subscriptions.

  5. Find Disney Plus from the list and tap Cancel subscription.

If you don’t see Disney Plus in your Google Play subscriptions, try switching Google accounts if you have multiple accounts associated with your device.

Other Disney Plus Cancellation Methods

If you signed up outside of Disney Plus, Apple or Android, you may want to try one of these methods.

  • Roku: Use your Roku remote or visit the website to cancel your subscription through Roku.
  • Amazon: Likewise, you must cancel your subscription through Amazon if you signed up that way.
  • Hulu+Disney Plus+ESPN Plus bundle: If you signed up for this streaming bundle, you must cancel through the service you originally signed up with, so you'll need to do so by canceling ESPN+ or canceling Hulu.
  • Mobile or cable provider: If your Disney Plus subscription is through your mobile or cable provider, you must cancel through those services.

What Happens When I Cancel Disney Plus?

When you cancel a Disney Plus subscription, the subscription will actually remain fully active until the next renewal date, after which it will stop functioning. Up until this date, you can continue using Disney Plus as normal on all of your devices.

Canceling Disney Plus will not delete your data or your Disney account. If you want to try Disney Plus again in the future, you can use the same account again.

If you cancel Disney Plus within a day or two after signing up from the Google Play store, it's possible to request a Play store refund.

How to Delete Disney Plus Account Data

If you want to completely delete your Disney Plus account and all of its associated data, log in from a web browser or the app. From your profile, select Account > Delete Account.

If you want to delete your Disney account, contact Disney directly.

From there, you'll be prompted to log in to your account, review the cancellation details, and confirm.

    If you have the Hulu+Disney Plus+ESPN Plus bundle, it's not possible to cancel any of the individual services. You have to cancel the whole bundle, then subscribe to Disney Plus separately.
