Discovery Plus Sharing: How Many People Can Watch at the Same Time?

You can use Discovery Plus on up to four devices simultaneously. Devices can be any combination of computers, smartphones, tablets, streaming devices (Roku and Amazon Fire TV), smart TVs, and gaming consoles.

Whether you're at home or away, you can watch Discovery Plus as long as you're in the U.S. or U.S. territories, including American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. If you leave the country or the specified territories, you'll have to deal with regional blocks.

To manage your devices click the profile icon at the top right of your screen and select Account > Manage Devices. Click Remove next to a device to deactivate it or click Remove All to start fresh.

Can I Download Discovery Plus Content?

Discovery Plus does not allow users to download content for offline viewing. You can only watch Discovery Plus programming when you have an internet connection. Most other streaming services offer offline viewing, including Disney Plus, Hulu, and Amazon Prime Video. However, YouTube TV is another service that doesn't provide offline access, though it does support multiple profiles and devices.

How Many Accounts Can You Have?

You can have as many Discovery Plus accounts as you wish. You’ll need to use different login credentials for each account. If you want more than four simultaneous streams or more than five profiles, getting another subscription to Discovery Plus is your best bet.

Is Account Sharing Allowed?

Yes, you can share your account with up to five family members. Each profile has a profile image, viewing preferences, and the ability to save episodes to watch later. Click the profile icon at the top right of your screen and select Manage Profiles to add, edit, and delete profiles.

Discovery Plus does not have any parental controls, so you can't block your kids from watching certain programs.
