    This article explains how to purchase and download music from Amazon Music.

    How to Download Amazon Songs to a Computer

    It's easy to download songs from Amazon to your computer using the Amazon Music website or the desktop app. Here's how it works:

    Both Amazon Prime members and Amazon Music Unlimited subscribers can download All-Access Playlists, but only Music Unlimited members can save songs and albums to listen offline.

    1. Open Amazon Music in a web browser or install the Amazon Music app for Windows.

    2. To download a song from your library, select Library > Music.

    3. Select the Songs tab.

    4. Click the three dots next to the song you want to download.

    5. Select Download.

    6. Save the song to your computer. If you're using the desktop app, you'll see a small blue arrow indicating that the music is available for offline listening.

      If you're an Amazon Music subscriber, you can also download songs that aren't in your library. Click the search bar at the top of the desktop app (not the Amazon Music website) to find the song, and then repeat Steps 4 and 5 above.

    How to Download Amazon Music From the App

    It's also easy to download songs from Amazon Music with the mobile app. It works essentially the same as the desktop app and the website.

    Instructions here are shown from the Android app, but the process is the same for the iOS app.

    1. Download, install, and open the Amazon Music mobile app.

    2. Sign in to your account and then go to Library > Music to choose a song to download. Alternatively, tap Find to search for a song to download.

    3. Tap the three dots next to a song.

    4. Select Download in Standard.

    How to Buy Music on Amazon Music

    While there are free songs you can download on Amazon, there are loads more available for purchase. If you want to download songs to your phone or computer without having an Amazon Music subscription, you need to buy the song first.

    1. Open the Amazon Music Digital Music store to find the music you want to buy. Categories like New releases and Bestsellers make it a cinch to find something you might like.

    2. Select Purchase Options > MP3 Music to buy the album. Or, find a track in the list and got o three dots > Buy MP3 song.

    3. Select Buy MP3 Album - Pay Now if you're getting the whole album, or choose Buy MP3 Song - Pay Now to purchase the song.
