CEDAR VALLEY, Utah County — Officials have identified the pilot killed in a small plane crash on the Utah County side of Cedar Valley Sunday as Larry Irwin Kellogg, 49, of Springville.

The crash occurred about 6:15 p.m. Sunday, the Utah County Sheriff's Office said in a social media post Monday afternoon.

Utah County Sheriff's Sgt. Spencer Cannon said Kellogg was the only occupant of the plane at the time of the crash.

Cannon is asking anyone who might have seen the plane or the crash to contact the sheriff's office at 801-851-4000.
