Experience

Andrew began his career in financial services, starting at Cantor Fitzgerald and other institutional brokerage companies, where he gained broad experience in the major capital markets. He focused on the foreign exchange markets and specialized in off-balance sheet interest rate derivatives such as forward rate agreements (FRAs) and interest rate swaps. Andrew also developed pricing systems for those markets that could disseminate live prices electronically, and which were used to broker the inter-bank market.

He then worked as a banker for Nord/LB as a sales and proprietary trader in interest rate and foreign exchange markets, then at Bank of New York Mellon’s Pershing subsidiary as a product manager for separately managed account platforms generating model portfolios from client risk profiles.

After formal positions in banking and finance, Andrew worked as a fundraiser in higher education and medicine for University of Rochester, the Alzheimer’s Association, and The Strong National Museum of Play.

Andrew, who was taught financial market forecasting from an analyst that provided specific trading ideas to hedge funds, institutional investors, and individuals, continues his financial markets work identifying specific trading opportunities based on market cycle algorithms.

Andrew is also a freelance writer and editor for multiple subject areas and project types, teaches market forecasting to select students, and provides strategic consulting services to non-profit and for-profit organizations. He holds a NASD Series 65 license as a registered investment advisor representative, and is a licensed property & casualty insurance broker in New York.

An identical twin, Andrew enjoys reading and music, is a more than capable cook and baker, knows how to fix things around the house, plays golf and tennis, and has bowled two 300 games. Andrew lives in Rochester, NY and Boca Raton, FL with his wife and twin daughters.
