Janis Lasky Couvreux is an award-winning writer, journalist, Franco-American, lover of languages, travel and adventure addict, and sailor. If I get stuck (which happens often), I just let it lie, and go on to another part. But mostly, I tell my brain “Okay, it’s up to you, work on it, think about it.” And then I don’t, but my brain does. Sure enough, without fail, it wakes me up at 3 a.m., or it comes to me on my run, or in the shower. I trust my brain without me, so I try to get out of its way.(less)
