How to Make a Disk Partition in Windows 10 Without Disk Manager

Hi everyone, I just recently bought an HP laptop 14-ep0061TU with Windows 10 OS. I don't want to use my entire C drive to store everything. I'm a Fortnite player, and I want the games to run smoothly. I don't want to buy a separate drive for this, so I'm trying to use a partition for my Fortnite games. Can I just make a new partition based on my C drive?

Yes, you can create a new partition from your C drive. Also, you can certainly benefit from using a separate partition for your Fortnite games. It helps manage your game easily and more efficienctly. My C drive is used for storing operating systems only. I put my work files, entertainment, and games in different partitions. I didn't use Disk Management. It's too complicated for me. I recommend a professional partition software - EaseUS Partition Master.

EaseUS Partition Master is a powerful disk manager. It can help create partitions in Windows 10 or any other Microsoft operating system. You can create a new partition from your C drive. There will be no data loss. Here is a guide for you to make a disk partition on your Windows 10 HP laptop.

Step 2. Rright-click the unallocated space to click "Create."

Step 3. Confirm the advanced settings, including partition number(two), size(100 GB and 412 GB), drive letter, partition label, and file system. Click "OK."

Step 4. Select "Execute 1 Task" and "Apply" to create a new partition.

This third-party tool will make it easy for you. As long as you follow the process above, you can make a disk partition without too much hassle.
