Missing and Murdered Indigenous Peoples
American Indian and Alaska Native people are at a disproportionate risk of experiencing violence, murder, or going missing. Interior is using an all-of-government approach to address this crisis. -
Federal Boarding School Initiative
In June of 2021, Secretary Haaland announced the Federal Boarding School Initiative, a comprehensive review of the troubled legacy of federal boarding school policies. -
WH Council on Native American Affairs

Not Invisible Act Commission
The Not Invisible Act Commission is an advisory committee composed of law enforcement, Tribal leaders, federal partners, service providers, family members of missing and murdered individuals and survivors working to implement the Not Invisible Act of 2019. -
