First, I am grateful for the opportunities provided by Nojima Corporation. I joined Nojima Corporation in 2007, and it was my first career as a sales staff. In the second year of the acquisition between Nojima Corporation and Nojima APAC Limited, I was appointed as a Deputy Director of Operations and Solutions in Singapore, leading the Operations Department, and providing leadership and store development training.

When the COVID-19 pandemic struck, I was appointed Country CEO in Malaysia. Facing a new environment and challenges from a global crisis was not easy. Today, I proudly serve as both the Group Chief of Commercial Officer and Country CEO of Singapore for Nojima and COURTS. It has been an incredible ride, and I am grateful for the opportunities that have shaped my path.

At Nojima and COURTS, we believe every experience is a stepping stone towards unlocking an individuals’ full potential. My own journey was a testament to the power of embracing challenges and the invaluable lessons that come with them. Every challenge became an opportunity to stretch our limits, explore new horizons, and innovate in ways we never thought possible.

Along the way, I learned the true value of trial and error. Failure ceased to be a deterrent instead of a crucial component of the learning process. Each setback catalysed introspection, driving us to refine our approach, iterate on our ideas, and emerge stronger.

Through my experiences in talent development, I have learnt that the path to success is not always linear—it’s filled with twists, turns, and unexpected detours. Yes, it is precisely these challenges that mould us into who we are today.
