Admission to the University of Oklahoma’s Master of Science in Data Science and Analytics program is selective. To apply, you must have completed a bachelor’s degree with at least a cumulative GPA of 3.0. You must also have completed coursework in Calculus I, Calculus II, Linear Algebra and at least two semesters (one year) of high language programming. Please speak with a data science and analytics academic programs coordinator or enrollment counselor to discuss needed prior coursework.

Upon program completion, you will receive your diploma from the University of Oklahoma. It is conferred for a Master of Science in Data Science and Analytics. It does not have any "online" or "Coursera" designations.
The online MS-DSA program falls under the University of Oklahoma’s overall accreditation by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC).
You can access course materials on the Coursera platform anytime from anywhere. Courses have been designed by OU’s faculty specifically for an online learning environment.
11 courses (33 credit hours) are required to earn the Master of Science in Data Science and Analytics degree.
The program is flexible, designed for working adults. Most students take six hours in the fall and spring semesters and three hours in the summer. Courses range from eight to sixteen weeks long. Depending on how many courses you take each semester, you can finish in as little as 24 months.
