Guru Studio Bolsters Leadership Team

The kids and family entertainment company adds Jasmine Gard as VP of Finance while promoting Daniel Rattner to VP of Brand Strategy & Growth and Jennifer Oppenheimer to Senior Manager of International Sales & Licensing.

Leading family and kids’ entertainment company Guru Studio announced the appointment of Jasmine Gard as VP of Finance and the promotions of Daniel Rattner to VP of Brand Strategy & Growth and Jennifer Oppenheimer to senior manager of international Sales & Licensing.

Guard brings 15 years’ experience as a finance leader within the production and animation industry, having held senior finance roles at Netflix Animated Series, 9 Story Media, and most recently at Brain Power Studio, where she served as VP, Finance & Operations. In her new role, Guard will report to Guru’s president and executive creative director, Frank Falcone, while overseeing the company's production and corporate finance departments, financial and budgeting strategy, and tax and auditing. Kwan Ho Lee, who recently joined the company as controller, will report to Guard.

Guru also announced long-time employee Daniel Rattner’s appointment to VP of Brand Strategy & Growth. In his new role, he will spearhead the studio’s brand and content growth strategy, working across development, sales, and production to foster new marketing, content, and monetization opportunities. In addition, Jennifer Oppenheimer will continue to grow Guru’s content sales across original and third-party IP in her new position as senior manager of International Sales & Licensing.
