Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra 256GB: $1,299.99, plus FREE $250 gift card at Amazon

The Galaxy S24 Ultra is arguably one of the most powerful Android phones on the market, but its steep price tag has been a serious barrier to entry for many folks. Fortunately, Amazon is currently softening the blow by throwing in a free $250 gift card when you buy the 256GB Ultra unlocked.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 128GB:$799.99$679.99 at Amazon

Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 128GB: $799.99 $679.99 at Amazon

There are a lot of great Android tablets these days, but the Galaxy Tab S9 is easily one of our favorites, with a powerful Snapdragon processor, stunning 120Hz display, and an included S Pen stylus. Weeks before Prime Day, Amazon is carving a straight 15% off the price of the S9 (in Graphite).

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 64GB:$329.99$239.90 at Amazon

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 64GB: $329.99 $239.90 at Amazon

If you want something a little more affordable than Samsung's Tab S9 series, consider the 2024 version of the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite. This midrange device boasts a lightweight metal construction, up to 14 hours of battery life, and enough processing power to handle basic tasks with ease. Grab this slab from Amazon today and you'll instantly score a 24% discount.

Beats Studio Pro:$349$249.95 at Amazon

Beats Studio Pro: $349 $249.95 at Amazon

The Beats Studio Pro aren't particularly groundbreaking, but they're a solid pair of wireless headphones with customizable ANC (active noise cancellation), spatial audio support, and up to 40 hours of battery life on a single charge. I wouldn't really recommend buying these cans at full price, but with a 29% discount from Amazon they're a steal.

Insignia 50" Class F30 Series 4K Smart TV: $299.99 $189.99 at Amazon

Any time Amazon starts discounting smart TVs, you can pretty much bet on a few Insignia models being included in the lineup. Still, the retailer is currently carving 33% off the 50-inch F30 Series set, which is an even better discount than I expected. This affordable, no-frills smart TV delivers great picture in 4K Ultra HD resolution, plus you get DTS Studio Sound support and Alexa voice control.

Amazon 55" Omni Series 4K smart TV:$599.99 $449.99 at Amazon

Amazon 55" Omni Series 4K smart TV: $599.99 $449.99 at Amazon

Amazon's Omni lineup of smart TVs is all about bang for the buck, offering premium features like 4K QLED resolution and HDR10+ support with adaptive brightness for much less than the competition. Pick up the 55-inch version and you'll instantly score a 25% discount, sending the midrange set closer to budget TV territory. Other TV sizes are receiving similar discounts, so take your pick.

Prime Day FAQ

When is Prime Day?

Amazon has finally confirmed that Prime Day 2024 will start on July 16th at 12:01 am PDT and run through July 17th. That's about what we predicted when we first launched this guide a couple of weeks back.

What is Prime Day?

Prime Day is Amazon's biggest sale of the year, offering Prime members some of the most epic discounts this side of Black Friday. It started back in 2015 and runs for 48 hours each summer (usually in July). In addition to regular discounts, Prime Day is chock full of flash deals, invite-only opportunities, and much more.

Is Prime Day only for members?

Pretty much. Prime Day was specifically designed to benefit Prime members, so the vast majority of deals on the site will only be available to those who sign up for the subscription service.

If you aren't a Prime member yet and you aren't interested in paying the $14.99 monthly fee, it's worth noting that Amazon offers a 30-day free trial that you can cancel at any time. In other words, you could sign up on July 1st, enjoy all of the money-saving benefits of Prime Day 2024, and cancel your account before the month ends.

How do I find the best Prime Day deals?

In addition to simply monitoring Amazon's deal home page, Prime members can also stay on top of the best Prime Day deals by signing up for the Prime Insider newsletter and creating alert notifications on their favorite product categories.

I also recommend using Camelcamelcamel.com for price tracking and, of course, watching this guide (and Android Central in general) for up-to-date deal coverage and shopping advice.

Is Prime Day only at Amazon?

Prime Day is technically exclusive to Amazon shoppers, but you'll likely find that all of the retailer's biggest competitors — including Best Buy, Walmart, and Target — will be launching sales of their own around the same time. Just like past years, we'll be covering all of the best rival sales that are relevant to Android users, so check back later for news.
