I love Steven King and the Director Frank Darabont BUT this movie showed so much promise at the start but then lost steam as it went on- Maybe I just expected to much bring Steven King is Steven King or maybe the movie script did not stay true to his book, I am not sure, but is ok for rental but not worth buying.

SPOILERS----- STOP READING HERE-----

The movie was predictable and failed to hold my interest
The mist rolls in after a bad storm, it hides beast within it.
The towns people are unaware of the danger ahead and go to the store for supplies after a bad storm the night before.
They are trapped and must face down the best-

The plot has been used by so many movies I had hoped Stephen would pull out his normal --writing mastery and make this not so hum drum-- I know it was based on his novella and perhaps I should read it. It could be the screen adaptation turned it into a boring, already seen this 100 times before story line and the novella was different? If you are going to pay for this STOP- if you are really really bored and have prime (since it is included free of charge for prime members) go ahead and blow a few hours (126 mins).
